Goimagine site support will NEVER use the message center to contact you, why would they, they have your email.
Goimagine does not process payments, if there was ever anything wrong with your shop's ability to process payments you would need to log into Stripe (the payment processor) and they will never message you in goimagine's message center because they have your email.
When you get an email notification it says, "a customer on goimagine has messaged you" in the subject line, the email says "You have a new message sent to you in goimagine." When you get the text notification (if you are signed up for them) it says "You received a new message through goimagine". None of them say the message is *From* goimagine, so never click any links inside message center messages that claim to be from "support".

Weekly update. . .Christmas and dragons
I am starting another dragon that is a gift and will not be photographed or posted, which is weird for me since I'm used to posting photos of whatever I'm making, but I want it to be a surprise for them so . . . no peeking 😊

Weekly update. . .holidays are coming
And by "noodling" I mean making multiple batches of egg noodles for the season. I spent hours the other day on these 5 batches and one of them became beef and noodles for dinner last night. 😁 We'll just call that quality control testing.
On a happy note, there are more dragons coming before Christmas, one of them is even Christmas themed 😎 and I think he's going to be gorgeous.

Weekly update. . .it was a beautiful day
It was a beautiful day with near perfect weather, although by the end of the day I admit I was hot and it's a good thing I always take a cooler of frozen water bottles and cooling cloth. 😎 The venue/location is great, the farm is lovely, there was a team of volunteers directing traffic and the whole thing was well organized. The owner is really nice and there were so many cool booths. I was pretty happy with my display, but 12 was definitely too many easels and I didn't end up using them all. 😅
It seemed like a good crowd, some friends came out to see the booth, which is always nice. 😇 The art got a lot of great compliments, to my surprise I still have all the chainmaille dragons, but several people took business cards and/or goimagine info. Also, I have another event next weekend so it's kind of ok that I still have all the dragons. 😉 I expect I'll see some familiar faces next weekend in Thomasville. This week I need to double check inventory against online listings, I did deactivate the wire trees that sold, I need to shuffle the ones left in the book. I need to figure out how much of the art to take next weekend when I will be taking the full jewelry inventory and 3D printed stuff. Luckily the booth space is a little bigger and I can take all the tables and racks, plus it's indoors so I won't need the tent. 😇

Weekly update. . .next week
The purple one is shorter but because of the legs it's actually about the same number of rings as the green one, so they will all be priced the same. The red and black is the newest and I have begun a new version of blue. Although, I'm not sure I'll get a 4th finished before the event I guess it can be my work project in the booth. 😉 I've been considering making little cards for the dragons, description of materials and ring count type of info, but then I thought about "adoption certificates" with names and creation date. 😊 I think I may be overthinking. 😅 I also think my overthinking is just me thinking of ways to waste time I don't really have. I am really happy with certain paintings in their frames, they just coordinate beautifully, and the frames really finish the art.

Weekly update. . . AAaaaah
Yeah, that's just me screaming. 😐 I am making progress on the art framing but booth layout and set up are making me mental. Oh, and there seems to be another hurricane in the works. 😕
I've got 10 finished so far, but over 20 more to go. 😅 Plus the dozen tabletop easels to assemble.
I am ridiculously nervous about the upcoming event, as if I haven't done dozens of events for years. Part of it is because it's a new venue and "new" events always make me a little nervous, but a much larger part of it is being the first time I'm setting up with just art. I've been selling jewelry for a decade, but I am less confident about my art. I have sold some art at other shows but not usually a lot. I think that is because it is not usually the focus and not much of it is actually displayed, most of it just lives in its' crates, even in the booth.
I really liked the crates for storage and display when I bought them years ago, the idea of flipping thru paintings the way I used to look thru my parents' vinyl records was cool. . . But apparently, I'm old and most people don't feel that way. 😅It has not been a very effective display or actually led to a lot of sales of the art, so maybe a booth with nothing but art properly professionally displayed framed on easels it will be better. 😇 When I think back on it, most of the paintings that have sold at events have been framed and/or sold off of the front display not out of the crates, most people don't look in the crates and even those that do usually only flip thru the first few paintings not the whole crate. I am allowed to take the wire trees and a limited amount of chainmaille in the form of ornaments and fidget balls, so hopefully I'll have good sales anyway.

Weekly update. . .September!
I am still on my "social media break". Although, I did post on facebook about etsy the other day, sometimes one just needs to "shout into the void". 😏 Ironically my instagram has gained followers even though I haven't posted in over a week. 😅
I don't know how long this break will last, initially I thought a couple of weeks, but now there are some issues other than my own mentality and feelings. I don't want to get specific but there are possible life altering things on a couple of fronts. I'm ok, my husband is ok, but my father-in-law whom I adore has been diagnosed with cancer. 😟 We think they caught it early enough and we all have high hopes, but it is scary.
I plan to continue doing these weekly update posts but otherwise I will be mostly offline. I am working some mostly to keep my mind off of other things. This week has been 'purple, purple, purple!' and if you don't get the Gilmore joke that's ok. 😅

And apparently so is my husband, he walked in my shop last night to see the latest version and called "dibs". 😐😏😅 Seriously, between my husband, my friend, my mom and dad, everybody wants one, I may never get to actually sell them. Of course, I am having second thoughts on that anyway, parting with some things is hard when I put so much time, effort and energy into these. I've never had this attachment issue with the jewelry, occasionally with the art I will miss a piece after it's sold but I rarely have that clingy "mine" reaction.
When I'm making them, they almost seem to develop personalities. 😇 Or I could just be crazy. 😅😆

Weekly update. . .oh wow
I do like the tail flare, I plan to try again and repeat it in different sizes like barbs. I'm still trying to decide which patterns I like best in the tail, 2-by-2 seemed like cheating to me (at first) because it's so simple, but it is the fastest way to make distance with less rings. 😏 So for the curious . . .
Secondus is actually slightly longer than ReGol, even though his "body" is shorter and he has 50+ less rings.

Weekly update. . . new supplies
My order of new scales and rings arrived yesterday. 🎉
5 colors of large etched dragon scales, 5 colors of smaller regular scales, more rings because I always need more rings. 😅Now I really need to get busy making stuff and then pray for some sales because I've invested quite a bit of money on frames for the art and expanding the ring inventory to include more sizes/colors and scales. I am super hopeful about the events I have scheduled this fall, if they go well all this should be worth it. 😇
I am also pretty glad I didn't schedule any June/July events with this ridiculous record heat. I thought about it months ago, but it just didn't work out and now I'm like that's probably for the best. This way I get to spend all summer framing art and making new stuff in my air conditioning instead of dying of heat stroke at the farmer's market. 😎
I am making progress on framing art, but I have realized that any of them that are/were already listed will have to be deactivated once framed because the listings will need updated with new photos and pricing to reflect the frames, so. . .
Warning: Some of the art will temporarily disappear and eventually come back framed at higher prices, so if you have your eye on something currently listed, I highly recommend grabbing it now, unless you want it pre-framed and are willing to pay $20-25 more. 😉
In the meantime, more dragons will be coming and probably sooner than you thought.
I already have a second body done I was just waiting on the large scales. The second dragon will have a color-fade down his belly that will be reflected in the scales on his back, he is slightly shorter bodied than Regol but overall will likely be close to the same length when including his tail. I plan to attempt legs on this version along with several other changes like half the number of scales and slightly different wings.
We'll see how he turns out. 😉
