Weekly update. . .Next!

I'm feeling pretty good about this past week, I have accomplished several things. Ok, so technically I ordered the banner before this week, but it arrived this week.  I am thrilled with how it turned out and I think it looks great hanging up, even over the window when backlit it still looks cool and is readable. 😁 This is a huge yay! and was its' own important test because I have been thinking of all the ways I can use it and one of them was as a partial backwall in the tent, which means it may at times have sun shining through it. So, the fact that it is a good sunblock while looking virtually lit-up is pretty cool, I had not anticipated that but it's working for me. 😎

There are only 2 weeks before my upcoming event, which will be outdoors at a park using the pop-up tent and my new banner. It is a local event and mostly unrestricted, so I can take all my stuff and my husband's 3-D printed stuff too. 😇 I have been working on making "stuff and things", including the new wire trees I made for the #goimagine maker challenge and some other stuff I am still not publishing, yet. I plan to have a full re-stock of the rubber bracelets and hopefully will be back to full pages in the "Book of  mini Trees".

While I am glad this thing is finished, I have to admit I'm not really happy with it. I struggled making it, it was as if the wire was fighting me every inch. I'm not thrilled with the leaf placements, the nest is not where I wanted it, it is a disappointment to me. I'm sure other people will like it fine it's just not what I envisioned. 😏 I do love the blue butterfly version, although, I seriously doubt I have any chance in the maker challenge contest because, well crappy photos. 😒

Part of me is just happy I managed to finish both in time to get them entered. 😅 It was a cloudy day when I shot the photos, I'm not sure when judging is happening, maybe I can shoot new photos and update the listings before then. Lucky for me the next maker challenge prompt is something I already had, so I have already submitted an entry for "Gradients & Grids"

Weekly update. . .postponed

As much as I plan and plan, sometimes things just don't go according to the plan. 😏 I haven't been feeling 100% a couple of days this week, so the second wire tree for the #makerchallenge is still not finished. I know I'm not alone in this, everyone has issues sometimes that is why I got an email notifying me the June event has lost the date with the venue and is being moved, postponed.  😐 It's ok, the May event is still happening, and I'll just have to look for other options for June, July, August. Ideally, I'd like to have one event a month, but I'm not sure that is going to work out.  😅

I am going to work on this today.  I really need to finish it so I can have that end of the bench cleared to set up and shoot the photos of both trees so I can create the listings and submit them.

However, I am currently delayed from working on that tree because I had an order come thru one of the online shops last night, and of course they ordered a color that I don't have already made. 😅 I keep meaning to re-stock the rubber bracelets, but it seems no matter which colors I make they always order one I don't have ready.  It's ok, it is just a small rubber helms bracelet I can whip it up today and ship it out tomorrow, but that is a couple hours of not working on the wire tree. 😏

The other box with the rest of the frames arrived the other day and looking at the dented and ripped box I was initially very concerned, but thanks to the foam and bubble wrap packaging inside the frames themselves are undamaged. 😌

So now I get to go through the process of selecting which of the 150+ paintings actually get one of the 22 frames. 😶 But right now I have to go get busy on a bracelet. 😉

Weekly update. . .big plans

I have multiple events on the schedule now, nice and spaced out so far.  I ordered a Big fancy professional banner and it should be here before my next event next month. 😉 Technically, the next event is just under a month away, but it is a "hometown" event so no travel, low stress event, it is literally a day at the park.  😎

I am still working on the restocking. . . making more rubber bracelets, making more small trees, making more fidget blocks. 😅 Ok so my husband prints the fidget blocks and I'm kinda focused on my #makerchallenge entries first, but I have weeks to prepare. As long as the kitten isn't too distracting or destructive I should be able to get plenty of new stuff done, of course he is yowling his way around the house being rotten right now so. . . 😂 The good news is I have 1 of my 2 #makerchallenge entries finished already I just need to photograph and list it so I can officially submit it.

I know, not the best photo, they never really look good laying on the banged-up bench 😏 but trust me with 5 colors of wire, 3 sizes of Swarovski crystal beads and 8 butterflies it is very pretty 😇

The next one will be very different, not just birds instead of butterflies, not just green instead of blue wire, but with the bird's nest and dangly leaves a completely different look. Also, because I am crazy and easily distracted a whole new idea hijacked my brain yesterday and is in mid test on my bench. 😅 Probably not the best timing or wisest idea but if it works it will be amazing, no photos yet.  I am taking "work in progress" photos but I will not post about this until it is complete and then only if it turns out the way I want and looks super cool.

The cases of frames I ordered should start arriving this week, so be prepared for some A/B polls to help me decide which pieces to put in which color of frame. 😎
I have distributed multiple versions of the beads & rings bracelet design for wear-testing, now is the boring waiting, for possibly months, for one of them to break. One of them I made with a matching keychain for my Momma's birthday. 😇 If they all make it past the 6 month wear mark without breaking, I might consider selling the design.

Happy Birthday Mom! 💖😇

Weekly update. . . it's Spring

The weather is changing, the eclipse is coming and I'm scheduling events. I don't have a full calendar yet and I am focusing on local events so it may not be too many. 😎 Then again, events take a week to prepare & pack and a week after to unpack & recover so having them spaced out and not doing too many is a good thing for me. 😉

I think my next event will be Saturday May 11 for the Antique car rally, since I didn't get into the Rose Fest. However, in amazing news I did get accepted for the Elevate Artisan Market in October. 😲 Now I have to rethink my entire booth and display because Elevate is a step up and I am going as an "Artist" so no jewelry just art. I'm thinking less tables, use all 3 wire shelf units, maybe get the right feet and make them flat walls instead of corner shelves. I am looking at buying another batch of frames and some tabletop easels, I need it to look pretty and let's face it booth decoration is not my strongest area. 😏 It's 6 months away and I'm nervous already. 😅

In the meantime, I have a lot to get done before the next show next month, so I'll have to think about Elevate later. 😇 I am still playing with and testing the beaded bracelet design, I still need to restock the rubber bracelets, I need to finish the crate painting, I need to clean off this messy bench and finish this month's maker challenge trees. 😏 Like I said I have a lot to get done, but in the months before Elevate I have an even longer list, paintings to seal, paintings to frame, large trees to make, I want to try to epoxy the blue and white series.  I feel like I am setting myself up for failure because I'm not sure I can get everything done, and that is before the insecurity and imposter syndrome starts kickin' in. 😕

I know I want to frame these, and I think I'm going to use matching frames for all 3 but then I'm torn on if they should sell as a pair with an optional coordinating 3rd or if it should just be a set of 3 all together. 😐 Maybe I'll price them out both ways.  Maybe I'll make myself completely crazy overthinking things. 😅

Weekly update. . .Happy Easter

I have recovered from my event last weekend, everything is unpacked, inventories have been adjusted, art has been re-hung. I have a list of things I need to make and a separate list of things I want to make. 😎 I need to finish my #makerchallenge submissions, I need to restock rubber bracelets and star earrings, but I want to continue to experiment with new things. Plus there are other things, like painting my crates that I've had for years and keep putting off.

When I bought the crates to haul the art years ago, I had planned to fancy them up, but my original ideas didn't work the way I intended. 😏 So I settled on painting the name, but using the letters as stencils and getting the arch and spacing right was a total P.I.T.A. one of the farmer's markets I was vending at, at the time had a rule about having your location with your name, which was fine until we moved cross-country. So, 1 of the 2 that I had painted for display now has tape over the old Tipton, IN location and looks tacky and the second one looks messy because the paint pen kind of leaked and exploded on it. 😅 I have been planning to correct this by doing the other 2 crates better, so when on display they don't look so____ (messy, amateurish, ridiculous).  It has taken me 2 years to get around to it and I have decided that a straight line is fine this time. 😎

I have also now decided that I am crazy for my decision to paint it where it sits on the shelf, because after doing so yesterday my neck/shoulder is out and my arm feels like it may fall off. 😄

It still needs a second coat, plus there is still another one to go. 😐 However, I think I'm going to go ahead and empty and move the second one to the floor to paint it.

Still experimenting with the leather, beads, ring design, in various size combinations. It does look cool but the knots and button/loop closure I'm not sure about, it's simple and I do have some awesome buttons, but I think it could be better with a proper crimp and clasp.

Weekly update. . .I'm tired

So, it's the day after an event and I'm in recovery mode, from the getting up at 5am to going alone, these events are exhausting for me. There is a reason I don't do a lot of them, I could not do something like this every weekend the way some people do, but again I point to I go alone, most of the booths I watched set up yesterday had at least 3 people to set up and work them. 😏 Then there is me all by myself, although yesterday I was not the only one all by myself there was a dude with some really cool clothes that was all by himself, we chatted about the struggles of doing it alone.

It wasn't a bad day for me, traffic was slower than expected, but I at least made more than my booth fee I'm not sure everyone can say the same. Actually, many people packed up and left early, I didn't but by the time 4pm hit and I was breaking down all the food trucks and booths outside were already gone. 😕

In other news, I ordered some beads to make some more of this design so that I can get some people to "test" wear them for a while. I love the look, but I'm concerned about durability, since it was brought to my attention by someone with a broken one looking for a repair. Maybe it was just a weak spot in the leather cord, or a sharp edge on one of the metal beads that caused the breakage on the one I didn't make, maybe I'm overthinking and worrying about nothing. 😐 But I would be really upset if I sold one of these and the buyer came back in a short time with it broken, not like mad they broke it, more like disappointed that I sold something that didn't last. 😞 Not that I've never had someone bring back a broken piece, but usually there is a story of "my dog jumped up and his claw got caught" or something that happened to it, not just it wore out. 😉

This week, I need to unpack and make some stuff. I'm low on rubber bracelets and I need to make some more earrings to fill the empty slots in the displays. I also have to work on finishing my maker challenge submissions, so another busy week.  😇

Weekly update. . .Happy St. Patrick's Day

It is shocking to me how fast this year is flying by. I am trying to work on multiple projects at once and although I know I am making progress it doesn't really feel like it. 😅 I have the canvas base for the scrap-tastic tree painted, I have wire and charms and a plan for the Birds & butterflies trees. I did get 3 new earring display trays finished and I am happy with them. 😎

This week I probably won't "finish" anything because I have to sort art and pack up for the show on Saturday. 😏 I woke up this morning to a bunch of ridiculous spam messages. I don't understand the purpose of these, they are clearly spam and giving me phone numbers and emails that I will never in a billion years contact. I mean come on, internet scam 101 people. I hope no one falls for this, but someone somewhere does, or they would stop doing it.

This ridiculous joke of a sock-puppet fake account sent the same exact copy/paste message 4 times in less than 5 minutes. 😐 So, let's identify some signs this is BS, first "this listing" does not reference a listing, the message does not identify and is not connected to any of my products. They say they would like "to buy from this app" hello this is on goimagine who does not have an app yet. If they really wanted anything in my shop they could ya' know just put it in the cart and buy it. If they had genuine questions why did they not just ask them in the message instead of trying to get me to call them?! And finally, the name and the email are nothing alike. This is not my first spam rodeo, heck it's not even the only one this morning. 😉

Oh come on, man! If they really wanted to purchase it "asap" the answer is to just put it in the cart and buy it. I do not negotiate prices, this is not ebay, there is no "offer" to be the best offer. The price is on the listing, the price is the price, buy it or don't, are all things I would say to a real person, but this is not a real person this is a spam bot. And a poorly programed one with bad grammar, I "Got" many items available, but I will be ignoring these messages because spam bots don't make purchases.  I think sometimes when sellers fall for these types of things it's just desperation and/or hope for sales, but not all that glitters is gold, watch out for the "fool's gold".  😉

Weekly update. . . time change

Well, it's "Spring forward" time so, of course, I am running late this morning. 😅 Normally this post would be done and posted already, but I'm just now writing on it and my kitten is yowling his little head off distracting me. ~sigh~ It has been a weird exhausting week of not really accomplishing much so this post is likely to be rather short.

I have registered for my first event which is in just a couple of weeks, so I have tons of stuff to get done in a short amount of time. I really need to make some inventory and restock some stuff. I need to work on some new displays for certain things and some booth decor.

I also need to start work on my maker challenge submission for the "Scrap-tastic" challenge this month, I have a plan I just need to get to it and get it done. I have a plan for next month's "Birds & Butterflies", and I already submitted for May's "Gradients & Grids". 😉

Next week will be a very busy week, I hope it's also productive. 😅

Weekly update. . .It's March!

Yay! It's March!! I know I may seem overly excited about that but. . . it is one of my favorite months of the year because it's #MeettheMaker time, also known as the only time I know what to post about mainly because someone smarter than me published directions. 😅

So, I am trying to get ahead on pre-scheduling the facebook and instagram posts for the challenge, normally I only schedule a week at a time, but I have a whole month plan now. 😎 Not that I expect that to really make it that much easier because even with prompts I still have to figure out what they mean to me and what I'm going to post about it, then go looking for photos that represent that.  😏 ~still work~

First event of the year, we'll see how it goes. I love the fairgrounds as a venue, it's a nice event space, but honestly it has been hit or miss. My first event there went pretty well but the last one was a dud, scheduling is very important around here and the November event had a lot of scheduling conflicts with other events and football games. 😕 I am going to try again but even this one has scheduling conflicts. . .like the Circus being at the fairgrounds at the same time. I don't know if that will be a good thing or a bad thing. 😐 I'm also debating inside vs. outside, normally I want to be inside no weather worries, no stuff blowing over, but if the circus is there then maybe outside in the parking lot is better.  Although, if I do go outside then I take less stuff because I have to pack the pop-up tent and sandbags and certain displays don't go because of the possibility of weather, less paintings, different earring and necklace stands that don't blow over. There are always so many things to consider sometimes I have a really hard time making decisions.

Speaking of hard decisions, there is just over a week left until the selections and notifications for this year's Rose Fest. . .I'd bet $5 I'm going to get rejected again. 😅 We will wait and see but honestly, I do not have high hopes, maybe one of these days I'll make friends with the right people, although I'm pretty socially anxious, hate leaving my house and don't have an easy time making friends so. . .that's not super likely either. 😅😏 ~fingers crossed~

I am still working the facebook recommendations and doing the weekly and monthly goals, building my audience by increasing followers by posting more.

I'm not only making progress on my "goals" for facebook, but I'm getting really close to some major milestones. I am only a handful of followers away from 400 facebook followers & 500 instagram followers. 😀 That may not sound like a lot but it's huge to me.

Weekly update. . . you're doing it wrong

I have spent considerable time in the last year on social media, a lot of that has been focused on facebook and instagram, but I still have this blog and a Pinterest account. I have done pretty well on my "Weekly" blog posts, keeping it consistent and sharing the link around. 😉 I've done ok with facebook and instagram, at times my posting has been sporadic, but I've learned a lot and increased my audiences on both.

I do think the insight tools and planner things have helped, once I got used to them and figured out how to use them. Although, looking at a blank calendar that only has 1 active post time suggested is kind of intimidating. . . 😐

Especially since the recommendations for the week are for a lot more than 1 post 😏 like 3-6 stories and 10, 11 posts per site. (Plus, as I re-read what I wrote above I'm not sure I should say I've "figured" things out because social media platforms are constantly changing things.) 😕

And while I will try to meet or exceed those numbers, I regularly wonder if it's all a waste of time, I mean, I think I'm doing things right and making strides towards something, but who really knows if any of it is worthwhile. 😕
I have been half-heartedly working on Pinterest for the last few years.  I never really understood it, but I pin things and sometimes they are seen or shared or clicked. I've never been convinced that I get sales from Pinterest, but I have seen some traffic in my google analytics. I have joined some goimagine based boards to re-pin to, but again I admit I don't understand Pinterest.  So, last week I watched a replay of Kara Buntin's Pinterest 101 on Maker Circle and . . . well sh*t!  I've been doing everything wrong, and Pinterest changes their stuff too often and I have a lot of work to do to fix and reorganize what I have and then going forward I need to do things very, very differently, or just give up on Pinterest.  😅

Nah, I'm too stubborn to give up on things 😉 I'll keep plugging away. 😎

Weekly update. . .almost

Well, it has been a week and this is an update, although not much to talk about business-wise. 😑 I haven't made anything new, I haven't been posting much, and I failed to meet my facebook posting goals for this week.

This is one of those "life" got in the way weeks, but it's not even my life stuff I'm dealing with. 😅 I'm helping a friend move, actually this has been quite the process and work in progress for months I just haven't been real public about it. There absolutely is a story, a big, long, complicated not-mine-to-tell kind of story, that I've just been quietly dealing with while trying to maintain a semblance of normalcy. 😶

Of course, lots of things are Not normal, like some of the stuff in my google analytics lately looks super weird. First, goimagine is USA only sellers and Buyers, people in other countries cannot purchase, so it always looks a little strange when I see foreign countries in my stats. Second, many people don't have Mosiac or don't have goggle analytics set up with it, so they won't see these types of things in the stats provided in the seller dashboard.

However, in the last 3 days I've had a huge spike in views and they all seem to be in Poland?!? 😦 What?!? Why?!? I don't understand. 😟 This looks crazy, nearly 150 views from a single foreign country in 3 days, something is very strange.

Seriously, the whole live realtime box continuously having Poland visits showing is Weird. Do you have any idea how rare it is that I actually happen to look at the same time someone is actually actively on my site?!? I mean I don't do statistics or that kind of math but in my experience previously I've had about a 1 in 10 chance of seeing someone active, but for the last 2 days it is continuous, which is starting to really freak me out.

Weekly update. . . just tired

I would say I'm still sick, but I think I'm really just perpetually tired. However, I did manage to complete another week of facebook goals including my monthly goal to increase followers. 😁😌🎇

I kind of love the "medal" of achievement, it's cute. 😇

And I managed to increase my follower count on both instagram and facebook! I am surprised but really happy about it. I'm also pretty happy with how the rainbow dumpsters turned out we bought 2 different "rainbow" filaments and both came out fabulous. 😎 Although, they are completely different looks, and the one is definitely more pastel and not a true Roygbiv rainbow and the dumpsters are small so getting multiple colors in one required some tweaking.

These are listed and available for sale now.

https://rainbowmaille.goimagine.com/mini-dumpster-rainbow/

As a matter of fact, I created a whole new shop category called Desk Decor for the dumpsters and I converted one of the chainmaille ball listings from "christmas ornaments" into "fidget toys". 😉 Work that I was really happy with until I went to screenshot it and realized the photo-sizing is a titch off on one of them. 😏

Maybe it's just my OCD and no one else will notice. . .except all you lovely people who read this post. 😅

Weekly update. . .recovering

Well, it's been a whole week of being sick and while I did throw some fresh photos on the existing listing for the dumpsters and added white and blue to the color options, I did not get photos or create the new listing for the rainbow versions. 😏

I did manage to meet the fb goals but mostly by accident. 😅 I'm not used to stories, so I didn't realize that trying to put multiple photos in one actually counts as multiple stories. 😉

In other facebook-y news I got another reminder email that they plan to screw everyone that does not convert to fb's checkout and give fb their cut, like the permanent banner in my commerce manager was not enough. 😏

I mean it's only been there for nearly an entire darn year. 😐

Now, I suppose it is possible that some people who never venture into the meta suite would not have seen the banner, but then again if you've never been into the meta suite then you very likely have never set up a pixel or connected a "shop" to begin with. 😏

So, I imagine that for some people an email notifying them of the disabling of something they never used anyway could be confusing, like a "what's this about?" or "why do I care?" However, for those of us that fought the battle to set up and connect a pixel and have the "Shop" link to our real shops on goimagine, this is a supremely annoying attempt at a hostile take-over of our "checkout" process, and I will not go along with it. 😠

No matter how many times they change the color of the banner or the font or if they make the whole thing bold or the size of the screen. I refuse to be bullied into changing my business or accepting yet another 3rd party into my finances.  😐 I don't wanna and no one can make me!! Yes, I still have the childhood stubborn streak and I realize how childish the previous statement sounds, but it is true, and I am lucky enough that I can make that kind of choice. My small business does not support a family it's just a self-sustaining hobby, an outlet for my creativity and events to force myself to socialize instead of becoming completely agoraphobic. I'm sure there will be many who feel they have no choice, people who actually do rely on their business income and cannot afford to lose out on possible sales.

Weekly update. . .I'm sick, again

This has been a sucky and repetitive flu season, I am sick again 😒 sore throat, sinus issues, fever off and on and so tired. 😞

My husband has been rather prolific in this 3D printing, he has ordered several colors of filament and is learning his way along.

There are now multiple versions of rainbows along with blue and white. I need to shoot some more photos and update the listing options, but I am considering making the rainbow its' own listing. I'll end up with 2 listings for the same product but one will be solid colors with choice for base and lid and the other will be multi-color and just come with the lids that were printed with each base.

In spite of getting sick again, I have managed to stay on track with my social media posting and have successfully completed 3 weeks in a row. 😎 This little streak may not last much longer I have noticed that each week the number of posts increases, so I may not be able to keep up. The first week it only wanted 1 insta story and 6 posts each, but now this upcoming week it's like 3-4 stories and 10-13 posts and that's too much, I think.

Yes posting "daily" was my original goal but this is multiple posts a day, so I seriously doubt I'll keep going even though I love the green checkmarks, and I did feel like I was accomplishing something, and my stats have been increasing. 😏 So in a way I was correct by playing along facebook has in fact been showing my posts to more people regularly, the numbers don't lie, more "reach" and more engagement. However, with the continuous increases I don't really want to end up doing 2-3 posts every day, I will run out of things to post. 😅 Or it'll just end up being the cats.

I have applied for an event, my first application of the year. 😇 The event is not until April and I doubt I'll get in; it's a juried event and I was rejected last year so I do not have high hopes this year. But you never know if you don't try and I've decided I will just keep applying every year and eventually they will let me in, right?! 😏 Or not and after 4 or 5 years I'll give up. 😆

Weekly update. . .I love green checkmarks

I love green checkmarks, something in my OCD list-making-self genuinely loves checking things off, even when it's just electronically and I'm not physically marking paper. 😇

I actually met my posting goals for facebook and instagram this week. 😎 Posting daily has been a struggle for me in the past but I have decided this year to really try to prioritize growing my social media. I have found the planner function to be helpful because I can pre-schedule 2-3 days at a time, so I don't have to actually do it daily. I was not a fan of the "meta business suite" and various weird pages for a long time and they have changed so much over the years it was always confusing, I am still not an expert, but I am learning.

My husband bought himself a 3D printer for Christmas and as some may have noticed my social media has kind of been all about it lately. 😅 He started making me stuff and some of it has been pretty cool and I'm not the only one who says so either. When he bought the printer, it was not his plan to sell the stuff he made, he just wanted to play with the new tech.

First there were cats!
Then lots of other things, penguin bookmarks, various fidget toys, rain covers for the security cameras, etc.

Then the dumpster for my workbench, which he made because I had commented that the kitten kept trying to eat things on my bench. 😅 Several people commented on the cool-ness or the cute-ness or even the actual usefulness, some even said they'd like one. . . so he made more, and I've been assembling them and now they are for sale in my shop. 😇

miniature desktop dumpster
One actually sold the day I announced the listing was live 😲 which is a total first for me. My husband was pleasantly surprised and admitted he kind of liked hearing about the likes and comments, not being a social media guy himself.
If you would like a mini dumpster for your desktop or workbench, click here.

In other news: the annual Valentine Sale has started, so there is 15% off selected items now thru Valentine's Day.

Weekly update. . .I'm not "Star" material

So, if you read my last post you will already know that I'm talking about facebook "stars" but for those that didn't see the last post, facebook has been making some changes. 😏 I noticed a glitch with the comment filter on posts not doing what I had my settings set to and clicking around I found a list of expanded options, one of those new options was comments "sent with stars". This led to a "what the heck stars are they talkin' about?!" moment, which led to more questions, a helpful answer from a goimagine founder leading me to the right backside pages in the meta suite. . . only to discover that I'm not star eligible. 😐

Oh, I'm good with the community standards, I'm compliant with policies, I'm over 18 and in an eligible country. What I don't have is over 500 followers, I currently only have 372 followers on the facebook business page. 😞 Anyone have 200-ish friends and family they can send my way? 😅😅

This sort of reminds me of etsy's star seller program which I almost never qualify for, if I get the minimum # of orders they don't meet the minimum $, or if I get both of those then I don't have fresh enough reviews, by the time the people leave reviews the other things have reset. 😒 I feel like I need some sort of miracle star-alignment blessing or something. The things I can control like message replies and shipping are always 100% but I have zero control over when people order or if they leave reviews, it's always just out of reach. 😔

Oh well, I guess I'm just not star material, yet. 😎 I guess I'll have to just keep plugging along making new stuff, posting more regularly, sharing, trying.  I got a new phone over the holidays, so maybe I'll figure out the camera(s) and start getting better photos, or maybe I'll just get around to re-doing all the old photos finally.  😇 In my mind I have "big plans"(for me) for 2024 but I admit that many of the things I'd like to accomplish may not happen, for instance, there is a local market I've been told about that I'd love to get into, but I've also been told that there is a waiting list and it's very hard to get in.
